Vibration Switches

PT580 Datasheet

VS102 Datasheet

A vibration Switch is a device that measures a single vibration parameter and provides a “Go / No Go” indication for operation of the machine being monitored. This indication is normally provided through acontact relay of some type and the set-point for engagement is user adjustable. Digital technology has allowed the Digital vibration switch to become a single channel monitoring system with many advanced features and user programmability. Electronic switches are a balance of solid technical features and cost.Basic Mechanical switches still exist and remain popular due to their low cost. We do not recommend using Mechanical switches.

The VS102 Electronic Vibration Switch is designed to be the cost effective solution for vibration switch applications. The VS102's unique and rugged design is suitable for harsh environments and hazardous areas. It has a universal mounting feature, relays or triacs, and a 4-20mA output.

.

The PT580 Digital Vibration Switch is designed to be the "one stop shop" for all vibration switch applications. The PT580's unique and rugged design is programmable, suitable for harsh environments and or hazardous areas. It has a universal mounting feature, wide operating temperature range, relays, 4-20mA output, Modbus communication, and works with internal sensor or a remote sensor.

The Metrix 440 SR/ DR is one of the most popular Electronic Vibration Switches in North America. Formerly the PMC/BETA 440, this switch is a rugged switch with high reliability that can be used in non-hazardous and Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas. The 440 was designed by PMC/BETA over 20 years ago and is considered to be in the Decline stage of its product life cycle.

The Metrix 450 SR/DR switch has the same internal electronics as the 440, but uses an explosion-proof enclosure for CSA-approved use in Class I Division 1 Groups B, C, D, Class II Division 1 Groups E, F, G, and Class III areas. The 450 was designed by PMC/BETA over 20 years ago and is considered to be in the Decline stage of its product life cycle.

Service and Training

PDM is a full service provider for Predictive Maintenance technologies. Our clients’ programs range from Consulting to support Training services to full Predictive Maintenance Programs. Our Consulting services can optimize an existing program’s performance, resolve the systemic problems that are being detected but not eliminated, or solve the difficult to solve problems. Our Training services are tailored to the needs of the client. Whether adding new staff to your Predictive team, upgrading existing skills, or getting personnel Certified; we have the Training solutions. Our Services range from fully embedded programs where we do it all to analysis and reporting services that support the internal data collection program.
